Kota Ibushi est devenu champion IWGP Intercontinental ce samedi à G1 Supercard.
NJPWLors de NJPW-ROH G1 Supercard Tetsuya Naito défendrait son titre de champion IWGP Intercontinental contre Kota Ibushi qui a visiblement bien fait de ne pas partir avec Kenny Omega.
Les deux catcheurs s’étaient déjà affrontés lors du premier tour du tournoi New Japan Cup le mois dernier, Ibushi ayant sorti Naito du tournoi, mais cette fois le titre de ce dernier était en jeu.
C’est au terme d’un match d’une vingtaine de minutes avec une fin assez intense que Kota Ibushi a pu placer son Kamigoye pour la victoire. Kota Ibushi repart ainsi avec le titre de champion IWGP Poids Lourds.

Après les titres IWGP Junior Heavywheight et NEVER Openweight, Kota Ibushi peut ajouter un nouveau titre de la NJPW à son palmarès, puisqu’il s’agit en effet de son tout premier titre Intercontinental.
